Zombies and Sushi

Mon Jan 11, 2010, 9:03 PM
So I have officially finished my Zombie Survivor series. Four paintings, acrylic on canvas, all 30" x 40" and a total pain in my neck. How do people do this painting thing and make it look so good? I think if I had time to paint without being rushed I might have made them 10x cooler than they are now. But it's good. They look great. And now they are hanging at a local sushi joint. They've only been up for 2 days and I already got an offer to purchase one. How about that! Anyway, I feel like this is a great start to my college career of art.

First studio class commences tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Sometimes, as I walk about the streets of Boulder, or across the beautiful campus of my university, I stop. The mountains are breathtaking, and oftentimes they stop my heart.

So, on good days, I have my handy point and shoot with me. In times like that, I can capture the source of my wonderful emotion.

This is inspiration.
